Where to meet up in Los Angeles

In Los Angeles, the drive often decides the plan. A group spread across the Valley, the Westside and the San Gabriel Valley faces long trips by car, so a spot on a Metro Rail line with parking nearby gives everyone a second way to get there.
These are the areas groups pick most often:
- Downtown LA. 7th St/Metro Center has the A, B, D and E lines. Union Station has the A, B and D lines, plus Metrolink and Amtrak trains. The Little Tokyo/Arts District station has the A and E lines.
- Koreatown. The D Line stops at Wilshire/Normandie and Wilshire/Western, and both the B and D lines stop at Wilshire/Vermont.
- Hollywood. The B Line stops at Hollywood/Western, Hollywood/Vine and Hollywood/Highland.
- Old Pasadena. The A Line stops at Memorial Park and Del Mar.
- Santa Monica. The E Line ends at the Downtown Santa Monica station.
Getting around
Metro Rail doesn't run all night. On the B and D lines, the first train leaves Union Station at 4:10 a.m. and the last ones leave around midnight, every day, as Metro's timetables show. The last A Line train south leaves Union Station at 12:36 a.m.
- Union Station is the hub for trains from outside the city. Metrolink's Antelope Valley, Ventura County, San Bernardino, Riverside, Orange County and 91 lines stop there, and so do Amtrak trains.
- Metro's timetables show parking at Union Station, Universal City, North Hollywood and several A Line stations in Pasadena. For a group that drives, a spot near one of them lets people park once and ride.
- Metro says service after 8 p.m. can be delayed by maintenance, so leave extra time at night.
